For the Exquisite Corpse Soundscape I want the listener to enter an alternate, slightly distorted reality. I love the sounds water makes so I will definitely use some of those as a base for creating this dream-like world. Perhaps I will create an experience similar to driving in the rain or waking up in a warm bed while the rain is outside your window and then add more tension and drama as it continues. In the middle of the piece I want to use effects on the sounds to create an extraterrestrial feel that is different from what one might hear in real life. The middle of the piece will also include more of the chaos and busyness of central city life with honking and screeching and traffic in general to really give the listener the feeling that they are moving somewhere and changing locations. I think I want the ending to tie back to the beginning and create more of a calm lull, circling back the feelings of security from the beginning.
